After a long wait with brexit and Covid-19 delays we finally got to get on the water with the Antix 2.0 here in Ireland. The headline changes have given us a faster, more comfortable boat with more length and a higher knee position. Less volume in the stern makes it easier to squirt and change direction.

I loved the original antix with it becoming my go to boat for everyday paddling from local laps on the Corrib & double drop to Norwegian classics like the lower Rauma.

Jackson Antix 2.0 First Impressions

The Antix 2.0 has taken it to another level providing the speed to surf every wave on the river with improved rocker in the bow to tackle even the hardest whitewater.

With some many boats to choose from these days this is truly a design that stands out. An all in one that gives you the options to play on your local run while still giving you the confidence to run harder rapids.

Right now in Ireland we still have some travel restrictions with international travel to Europe not an option. Hopefully the situation improves in time to get this boat to Norway to put the Antix 2.0 through its paces.
